Stunning Xena is a 1-year-old medium sized (about 45 lbs) trained Shepherd mix who is intelligent, sweet, cuddly, and friendly to both humans and other dogs. She is a very laid back girl and needs a little encouragement when she is working but when she is doing something fun like going for a walk or playing she gets very happy. She is eager to please, knows how to heel, and all her basic commands like sit, down,come, place and kennel are on point.
In the house, Xena is very calm. She naps throughout the day and coexists peacefully with the other dogs. She is happy to play when we initiate. She has never had an indoor potty accident, and she hasn’t destroyed any household items. She also quietly and patiently lays in her crate when her humans leave the house. Overall she has a very quiet demeanor and would make someone a great family addition.
Xena gets excited to leave the house and go for walks. She walks well on a leash and does not pull. She may get a little distracted by a squirrel but is very good at listening to the "Leave It" command. She may be best with a No Cat home. Not sure if she has ever lived with children but a meet and greet would be encouraged. She would also be a good dog for a hiking buddy, she would happily go wherever you wished.
