Heavy Equipment is a program that teaches in-demand skills to incarcerated men in our Canon City Minimum Centers. They learn to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including road graders, bulldozers, and backhoes.
Underground services offered include utility installation and relocation, water mains, sewer mains, gas lines, and electric and telecommunications.
Additionally, we perform above ground work, including road construction and maintenance, drainage work, snow removal, pond and landscape construction, demolition, and reclamation of decommissioned mine sites.
