Willow is an affectionate female, 5 month old Shepherd/Corgi mix puppy. She weighs about 22 pounds and will probably stay on the smaller to medium size when she matures. She is very loving and gets along with everyone she meets! She is part Corgi but is unique in that she looks much like a miniature German Shepherd. She's exceptionally smart, very treat motivated, and loves to learn so she has done very well in her basic obedience training. Willow will need mental stimulation and lots of appropriate chew toys and frequent potty breaks since she is still very much a puppy. This will keep her on the right path, developing into a wonderful companion for any family. She can be a little skeptical and apprehensive with bigger dogs and cautious around novel, unfamiliar items and new places. With some calm guidance, she overcomes her apprehension quickly. She is currently finishing up her training in Sterling and will be ready to go home in February. You can interview her in Sterling or Denver and her adoption fee is $650.
