My name is Stella and I am a young, female black lab mix puppy that is very soft and kind-hearted. I love going for walks so much that I've been known to prance proudly with my chest puffed out! I am about 10 months old and I get along well with other dogs. I want to play with every dog I see and when I get the chance to interact with them I am very gentle and submissive with dogs of all sizes - including little puppies. I am a fast learner and eager to please. I enjoy meeting new people and will often say hello with a poke of my nose. I may be a little shy at first but I have a calm demeanor and like to relax and lounge around with my person. I was taken in as a stray in a shelter and transferred to the Prison Program so not much is known about my past experience with cats or kids. But I'm open to having the opportunity to meet them and see what they are all about and the nice folks in the program can help with proper introductions. I'm done with my training and ready for a home of my own! My adoption fee is $650 which includes my vaccinations, microchip, and a lifetime of support for my training.
