My name is Spacely and I am a handsome little male Border Collie mix that will be turning one year old in May. I might look a little shell-shocked in this photo but I just have an intense gaze. If you know anything about Border Collies we are super vigilant and always on the lookout for trouble - or rather a chance to frolic and play! I am definitely a mix of some kind as I'm only about 28 pounds now and will remain a nice, smaller size which will be great for my new family. I'm super smart, loving, and very confident so I'm really friendly with every new person I meet! I get along well with other dogs and will make a great family pet based on my awesome travel size and wonderful demeanor. Not sure about cats in the home but we would just have to see how it goes. The nice folks at the prison program have information for successful feline introductions. I've learned a LOT and I'm so ready to go into my new home.
