Smokey is a very handsome and fun loving 1 and a half year old male Husky on the hunt for a new home! He weighs about 56 pounds, is super loyal, loves to play catch, and is eager to learn. He has lots of tricks and likes to show off everything he knows for the right treat! Like any self-respecting Husky, Smokey loves to run and has a lot of energy so he will need plenty of exercise. You can expect a lot of shedding as well but luckily he enjoys being brushed. He can be a little timid about people coming up behind him and it working through it well. Smokey would do best in a home with an active family that has older, teenage kids and the time to help him successfully transition into a new home and routine. He may be okay with another dog if a proper introduction is done but cannot live in a home with cats. He is a 'power chewer' and will need appropriate toys to satisfy this need. We've worked on his crate behavior and resource guarding so should go into a home with an experienced dog owner.
