My name is Polly and I was born on April 26,2022. My mother is a Blue Heeler and my dad is a Red Heeler. I am a dainty female with beautiful markings and a thoughtful demeanor. I am sweet, affectionate, and loyal to the people I love. If you know anything about my breed you know that I am very intelligent, highly trainable and have a lot of energy! Because Heelers are bred for herding I have a lot of those instincts in me but my training has taught me to 'leave it' if I get fixated on a bunny or a squirrel. It will be important for my person to be aware when the instincts kick in to keep me on the right track. I'd probably be inclined to chase a cat so I'd prefer another canine friend in my new home since I am playful with other dogs. I enjoy walks, staying busy, and playing with people too. I can be very vocal when I play but it's not aggressive - I just want you to know I'm having a good time! I will do best in a home with an experienced dog owner and older, teen-aged kids. I love to cuddle and I'm very treat-motivated which has made me easy to train. I will be a very loyal and wonderful companion as long as someone follows the rules of the program that I have been trained with. Won't you please consider me for your active home?
