I'm Nova and I am a beautiful, 5 year old female Pit Bull weighing about 62 pounds. Because I was transferred from a shelter not much is known about my past so we'll have to talk about little kids or cats and consider if I am suitable for them on a case by case basis. I am very sweet and can be calm - until I see a female human - and then I can get really excited because I just love my human 'sisters'! I like all people and can be selective about the canine companions I fraternize with so proper introductions with other dogs in my new home will be important to make sure I transition successfully. I've made some MALE doggie friends and get along well with them. I've got an upbeat attitude about life that is contagious. I love belly rubs, because - hey, who doesn't want a friendly belly rub once in a while when you've been a good girl? I'm also very treat motivated so that's made me quite easy to train. I love practicing my "place" command especially when I have a bone, ball, or Kong stuffed with peanut butter that I can work on. I've also been known to lounge about in my kennel. And in case you can't tell from my picture, I have an adorable underbite that makes my gaze hard to resist!
