Hi! My name is Noodles and I am coming up on my 2nd birthday soon. I'm a 50# male Border Collie mix in search of new life of adventure and fun! If you know anything about Border Collies, we are really smart and like to have a job and WORK! I am obedient and playful and warm up to new people quickly. In my previous home I lived with a couple of young children and another dog and was given up for being mouthy and destructive but since I've been 'in prison' I've redeemed myself quite a bit! You see, I'm a herding breed (mostly) so I thrive with a PURPOSE (and probably shouldn't live with a cat unless it is a very savvy barn cat). I would probably be a great candidate for agility because I love to chase balls and frisbees and there's even a small agility course here that I enjoy! I'm very intelligent, curious, and learn new tasks very quickly. I am highly treat-motivated and will perform just about anything you are willing to teach me! I've been playing well with the other dogs here and I'm ready for the next big thing in my life. I truly hope it is YOU! I hope you have a big, fenced yard (taller than 4', please) or better still - a ranch or some land I can 'work' with you. Now that I've had some training, I am very well mannered and ready to show you what a good boy and a great companion I can be! My training will be done at the end of June and I'll be ready to GO! My adoption fee is $650 which includes all my vaccinations, neuter, microchip, and ME! I'm here in Canon City and the next step is to complete an adoption application and get on my visiting list for an interview. I can't wait to meet you.
