Mazie is a sweet and loving 8 year old, female Boxer/PitBull mix in search of a loving home with children! Even though she is older she loves to train, walk, and do anything we make exciting. Maziee has a very calm demeanor and she likes to relax but also has the energy to go on nice walks. She is not very interested in toys but she does enjoy her chew sticks and bones. Mazie does get along with other dogs when properly introduced and would likely do best with a male dog companion. When first meeting a new dog, Mazie gets excited and a little overstimulated but will calm down within a few minutes. She has interacted with many dogs of various sizes, including puppies. She is a gentle player, depending on the activity level and age of the dog she is mingling with. Mazie has lived with and LOVES children, does not matter the size. She is really gentle with them and loves when they give her pets and attention. Mazie also enjoys rolling around in the cool grass and her favorite trick is to "Say Hello" and shake your hand. She has yet to meet a person she doesn't like and is a real snuggler. Maizie weighs around 65 pounds and you really need to meet her to appreciate what a sweet and wonderful girl she is! She just got a dental on June 16th and will be available to Go Home soon from our Canon City location. Mazie's adoption fee has been waived to help her find a perfect new home soon!
