My name is Marshall and I am a 55 lb., 1 year old male Boxer mix with a cute mushy face. I'm still young and have a lot of energy so I will require a home where I can get lots of regular exercise. I love people once I get to know them - I might just be a little shy at first. I do get along well with other dogs that can match my energy so it will be important for me to get to meet any other canine friends in my new home. I have a HIGH PREY DRIVE so would not do well with cats, smaller dogs, or very little kiddos because I will chase them. The folks here at the prison program have provided me with a good foundation of basic obedience and my new family should take advantage of all the Alumni privileges that I am eligible for to keep up on my good behaviors. Keeping me on the right path will be so important as I mature. I will also need some appropriate toys to chew on to make sure I stay out of trouble and satisfy that Boxer need to chew. I really enjoy taking lots of long walks on leash and when I've had some exercise I settle down and enjoy taking naps on my "place" or gnawing on a Nylabone.
