Hi, my name is Mallory and I am a 1 year old female Heeler mix that loves to fetch! I weigh about 50 pounds and I'm I nice medium-sized dog that will go just about anywhere as long as there are treats involved! That also makes me easy to train because I have great focus and love to learn. I have even learned to dance on my hind legs! I love to meet new people and enjoy cuddling, once I've had a little time to adjust. I'm not a barker but I will let you know when I need to go potty outside with a little whine; otherwise I am a good, quiet girl in my crate. I get along well with other dogs and like to play with them. I've even been known to grab their leash and take THEM for a walk - lol! I had a brief chance at a home and we discovered that I am pretty tolerant of/ignore cats but I do like to try and chase birds. I also like to chew on things so it will be important that I have a good selection of appropriate toys to keep me from chewing things I might get in trouble for.
I'm good with brushing and tolerate bathing however I really HATE the blow-dryer! Maybe we can just have fun with a vigorous towel dry if I get dirty when we play. I am a fairly confident lady and enjoy exploring and using my paws (if only I had opposable thumbs!). If you have an active family with older children I would love the chance to come home with you.
