Kylo is a 9 month old, male Shepherd Mix puppy with a lot of energy! He was transferred from a shelter partner and has a history living in a home with young children and cats however we feel he would be best suited for a home with older children due to some ongoing mouthing behaviors. Kylo has learned to walk well on leash and requires a lot of discipline and exercise as he continues to mature. He ignored cats in the previous home but they did not interact with him much so proper introductions will be important for his success. Kylo weighs around 40 pounds now and still has a little growing to do so he will likely mature to a medium to large sized dog. Because he is still young and energetic he will do best in an active home with another dog and a large, securely fenced yard. Appropriate chew toys will help keep him occupied and out of trouble (as well as maintaining the use of a crate in the home when he cannot be supervised). Kylo is a sweet boy who is ready to go into a new home soon and is eligible for all of our program Alumni privileges including FREE counseling and Alumni classes and discounted Refresher Training and Boarding.
