Jules is a beautiful female Akita mix who loves all people and other dogs. She is often complimented on her overall beauty and her incredibly soft, luxurious coat, as she sits politely to be greeted. Jules is 10 months old and still has great puppy energy. She plays well with other dogs and enjoys romping and playing in the grass. Jules has been known to 'smile' when she is happy and does an amazing "bunny hop", spinning jump in the air when she gets excited! But she is also a smart pup who has taken to her obedience training very well. Jules is gentle and sweet, soaking up all the love and attention she can get from humans - even giving gentle doggy kisses. She may be a little shy in a new place but warms up quickly and feeds off the confidence of her person. She currently weighs around 50 pounds and will have a little more growing to do. Jules will also require frequent brushing to keep her lovely, thick coat healthy and soft. She is on the lookout for an active family that can devote time to maintaining her training and giving her plenty of exercise. She was transferred from a shelter where she was taken in as a stray so not much is known about her history but we think she has a bright future and can help with introductions to children and other pets.
