Freida is a super sweet, 1 year old female Doberman mix who is still very much a fun-loving puppy at heart! She weighs just around 63 pounds and has a lot of energy. Her cute little ears and rough coat suggest that she may be mixed with a Shar Pei. She was transferred to the program from a shelter where her former family had to give her up so she has a history of doing well with children. Due to her high energy level, she would be most successful in a home with children old enough to help with her care and maintain her training. Freida will need lots of exercise and gets along with other dogs so another canine companion in her home will help with this since she LOVES to play. She may whine occasionally but we are working on that and she has picked up well on her basic obedience training. She does have a short, puppy-like attention span so she is easily distracted. It will be important for her next family to keep up with her training so she remains a good girl and has a lifetime of love to give! She may do well with smaller dogs and possibly a cat, with proper introductions.
