This amazing ball of floof is Flora. Flora was surrendered by her owner due to too many dogs and she wasn't getting the exercise and attention needed for this energetic girl. Flora is a tri- color Pembroke Welsh Corgi, just about 3 yrs and weighs 31 lb. She has so much love to give and life to live. She is a good girl who would do best with another playful tolerant dog her size in the new home. Flora walks very well on the leash and would benefit from daily walks as she really looks forward to them. Flora is crate trained, fully housetrained and has completed her training with us, she is ready to go to her forever home Today!! For anyone that knows Corgis she will require regular grooming, If you are looking for a no shedding dog she is not it, she does have Corgi Glitter. She enjoys her grooming time as any time spent with her human is one of her favorite things. She is very friendly even with complete strangers and the first thing that she will do is expect someone to play fetch with her and she is very good at it! Flora also likes to talk, we have worked on her barking and she is doing great when given the "Quiet" command but when she sees someone she loves she does give a little "Woo", which makes her cuter if that's even possible. Flora is a very social girl. Flora lived with an Aussie and a smaller dog than her and she was known to be bossy with the smaller dog. We do not know how she is with cats but probably a no cat home would be recommended. Flora is not a good fit for an apartment situation and needs a nice fenced in yard. A Corgi experienced home would be best but she can do well in a home where you can continue her training to help her be a sucessful girl. Overall Flora is a very lovely lady and would be a great companion with someone that can spend time with her.
