Hi, my name is Cheech and I am a cute, little 4 year old male Pomeranian mix. I'm a loving and gentle fellow that enjoys cuddling and going for walks. It's especially wonderful when the wind blows through my hair (lol!). I also enjoy relaxing in the shade on a warm, sunny day. I'm looking for a family that I can call my own and I will make someone a great companion for many years to come. I can be a little shy around strange, new places and big, male people but I've had to learn how to cope with that being in a prison, surrounded by lots of strange 'guy' people. All I need is a little time to adjust and then I'll follow you anywhere! My training is coming along nicely and I can't wait to show you all the good stuff I've learned. I'm also a very handy travel size, weighing just over 11 pounds. My size also means that my new family should take care that I don't get stepped on or run over by kids or bigger dogs. I might do okay in a house with a cat, since I'm about the same size, and the folks here at the prison program can help with introductions and transitions to make it smooth sailing. One funny thing about me - when I'm done, I'm DONE and play a convincing 'dead dog', laying on my back with all four paws in the air.
