Hi, my name is John Cena but you can just call me Cena! I am a male Boston Terrier mix that is just turning 2 years old in September. I am a great smaller to medium size at about 35 pounds and I love to snort and snore but I have almost no bark. I am very social with humans and love to be petted by everyone I meet. I also enjoy playing with dogs my size but I am not a fan of dogs bigger than me. I am especially fond and protective of my toys and food but we're working through this and I am getting much better about sharing. Because of this, I probably should be in a family with older children. If you know anything about Boston Terriers we do LOVE to play and I am a player for sure - until it gets too hot. That's something else that you should know about me - they call us 'brachiocephalic' dogs. It's a really long, funny-sounding word that just describes dogs with very short noses and wide, round eyes. Since I am black AND have a very short nose, it is important to be careful when playing with me out in the sun because it is not as easy for me to keep myself cool enough with panting. That's okay because during the heat of a summer day I would love nothing more than to hang out with you in the air conditioning and get belly rubs! I'm also probably not a great candidate for living with a cat (unless he's as big as me!) or other small animals because I love to chase birds, bunnies, and bugs; basically all the moving things. I'm doing well with my obedience training and just an all around fun-loving guy so let's meet in Denver soon! My adoption fee is $650 and comes with a lifetime of support for my training.
