Hello - my name is Cashew and I am a cute and loving female Chihuahua mix that can't wait to meet you! I was rescued from a bad situation where I didn't get the best socialization so this prison program has really been an eye-opener for me. I was in a home for a while but returned to the program because I started having issues with the other dog in the home and was allowed to do whatever I wanted without clear direction. We're tightening up my skills and getting me back into shape (I gained a little extra weight, too). I do get along with most dogs my size and I'm still pretty shy when first introduced to someone new but I am smart and I bond quickly to my person with a little patience. I love going for walks and learning new things. If you rub my tummy, you've got a friend for life! I'll do best in a quieter home and I enjoy cuddling.
