Hi everyone, My name is Caleb. I am a 5 year old, cuddly male Shepherd Mix in search of a new home. As you can see, I have a pretty big head but inside this glorious noggin is pure genius. I'm confident and smart and  I actually have a couple of tricks under my hat. I know all my basic obedience and have learned how to respond to hand signals for come, down, stand, heel and even sit! Fun fact - because I have been trained in a correctional facility I learned an unusual trick, called "Pat Down" - lol! Yep, I literally know how to stand still, paws against the wall like a gentleman, while someone checks to make sure I'm not smuggling snacks! I have an awesome recall and if you're anywhere within a million paws and I see you give the "come" signal, I will sprint to you like you're handing out free bacon! Personality-wise, I am the perfect balance of energy when you want to play fetch and chill when it's cuddle time. I'm curious, friendly, and can be unreasonably excited when meeting new people so a strong, firm hand is what I crave. I can be a little dog selective, when a dog gets up in my business, so no dog parks for me, please. And I'm probably too much for a household with small children or small pets. I don't know yet who my forever person will be but I am super excited to meet you! Let's plan a date soon at our Canon City location.
