Bruno is my name and I had a rough start in life. I am a male Great Dane mix that is almost 3 years old (my birthday is coming up in December). I lived my life at the end of a chain in my younger days until I had a chance to live as a member of a family for a while before coming to prison. I lived with a couple of little tiny dogs and I got along well with them and was very gentle. I also had a chance to go to work with my person and meet lots of little humans, too. I am very curious and sensitive with a loving, gentle nature. I can be a little shy going to new places and meeting new people but I respond well to kindness and affection. I do love to play with other dogs and I will playfully bow to invite an interaction, which is especially cute since I'm such a big, gangly looking fellow! When I'm comfortable with a person I will even lay my big, mushy face in their lap for snuggles and kisses. It will be important for my new family to have patience with me and be my confident leaders to help me continue building confidence in myself. I weigh around 71 pounds and I'm waiting down here in Canon City for my next opportunity to be a loyal companion for someone new. My adoption fee is $650 which includes a lifetime of support for my training. Please consider me if you are in the market for a canine companion.
