Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mr. Smith - 21 pounds of love - and I am pleased to make your acquaintance! I am a 4 year old, male Chihuahua/Terrier mix that made my way here from Texas via the Maxfund shelter because the shelter I transferred from was simply out of space and I had nowhere else to go. This prison program is my new 'leash on life' and I'm hoping to find my forever home soon. I'm a cute little gentleman that loves affection and is just happy to be where ever my human is. I also play well with other dogs and don't mind sharing toys. I have a quiet temperament and enjoy walks or playing with anyone that will give me their time. I've really picked up on all my training and will even recall out of play with other dogs! I like to play fetch with my rubber Kong toy but I'm just as content to lay at your feet quietly or have some snuggle time in your lap (if invited, of course!). I'm not really much of a morning 'person', preferring to sleep in and take my breakfast no earlier than 7am. I am very sweet and would make a great family pet so I'm putting myself out there.
