My name is Dewey and I am a sensitive and shy boy. As you may have guessed, I'm Huey's smaller brother and a 5 month old Shepherd/Corgi mix puppy, weighing around 17 pounds. I love to be outside whether romping through high grass or walking with my person. I love other dogs SO much! Maybe a little too much, sometimes...I'd probably do better with other dogs in my forever home otherwise I might just stay in my kennel too much. It is my safe place. Meeting new people can be a tall order but a confident human can really help me overcome this and I'm getting a little better everyday. I've learned sit, come, down, place, and heel very well. I may do great in a home with well-mannered children. My other favorite place is the lap of any person I come across that may be sitting on the ground. (Maybe I was supposed to be a cat? lol!) I also love yummy treats! I will not grow up to be a very big dog as I am more Corgi and I hope that makes me more appealing.
