Hello! My name is Cher and I am a 49 pound, female Lab/Golden mix in search of my 'Sonny'...I am a really sweet girl and would make a wonderful best friend for someone. I'm 3 years old and at that perfect age where I'm through all the silly puppy nonsense. I can still get a little nervous in unfamiliar situations and need lots of reassurance and a calm, patient leader. I do really great around small dogs and love to run and play outside. Once I get to know you, my warm and sunny side comes out. When we make a connection, I am still super playful and a huge cuddler. Since I came from a shelter as a stray, my past is unknown but I'm ready and waiting to build a bright new future with someone who will love me and let me love them back. I'm open to meeting well-behaved, quiet children and cats with some guidance and patient introductions. The nice people here at the Prison Program can help with that and will provide a lifetime of support for my training.
