Ace is my name and I am a handsome 2 year old, 45 pound male Pit Bull mix. I was originally adopted from a shelter but circumstances changed with my former family and they couldn't keep me. I was recently returned again because I didn't want to share my human's attention with another dog and I chased the cat so I'm back in prison. I am a very popular guy 'in the yard' because I love to be petted by everyone I meet. I just need a few moments when we first meet and then it's game on and my playful side comes out! I enjoy my Kong toy, balls, and bones but my favorite thing is just being by my handler's side. I have been around and done well with older kids (that I can't accidentally knock down!). I may do an occasional alert bark at a strange or truly scary person but I have done well in my training and only need a minor correction to let me know all is well. I'm ready for new adventures with an active family that will keep up with my training and give me lots of exercise, patience, and love. Won't you give me a chance?
