My name is Kirby and I am a striking male Shepadoodle in search of an active family. I currently weigh around 65 pounds and I'm almost 2 years old so I'm about as big as I'm gonna get, but I might fill out some more. I'm doing well in my training because I'm very treat motivated and eager to please my person. I do get very attached and show a lot of sensitivity to people around me. I can be nervous around strangers and I'm learning to deal with my anxiety because I have to meet lots of new people in prison all the time. I am very high-energy so lots of running and playing will help me work through that. I do get along with other dogs but can be a bit too much for some and am a little socially awkward/don't know when to stop if they are worn out and I am still ready to go. I did live in a home with some little kids and I was fine with them but just too exuberant and knocked them down by accident so older kids would probably be better for me until I have more time to mature (yeah, right!). I just need to find the right family that understands my special needs because I am a sweet and sensitive guy. Believe it or not I do have a delicate constitution so I'll do best on gradual changes to my diet and environment to give me time to adjust. If you think I might be your guy, let's meet up!
